I made three spots for Dewar's with the folks at Sid Lee, led by my Adidas creative director, Dan Chandler. These mini films detail the unique qualities of a Dewar's 'Drinking Man'. The first is about a fictional fellow we created known as ONE MAN GANG. OMG was born Norman Gallagher, a bruiser with a pure heart and raging temper. He spent four years in the military and a decade backpacking through Asia studying meditation and mixed martial arts. Not cut out for friendship or a companion, he returned to Glasgow to live with his aging Grandmother and took a job in 'The Queen's' security detail. On the weekends a promoter would fix fights for him, which he saw as the safest way to reconcile his unmanageable temper. Not that it did the trick.
